No experience necessary - we can teach you to read this!

Indexing & data input:

Town history books - we are indexing the North American town history books in either an Excel format or into GEDCOM format.

The Dale Wahl Collection Team is scanning the documents from Dale's collection. We will need volunteers to index these scans (in Excel) and input pedigree chart data into genealogy software to create GEDCOMs.
Translations:

We can always use people who can translate German or Russian. Current projects include translating death notices (from German), Crimean records (Russian) or articles for the Heritage Review (mostly German, some articles in Russian).

Portuguese translator needed for info on Bessarabian Germans who went to South America.
Project coordination:

We'd love to get a German-Russian DNA project going, but need someone to coordinate it. Contact Michelle Miller mthree[@]charter.net for more more info.
