• Freudental Family Database now includes the MOSER family.
• Peterstal Family Database Project. Surnames starting with P, WE-WI and the surname PFAFF.
• Peterstal Family Database Project. More files have been added to this database - surnames starting with B-Bet, Bib-Bit, BECKER, Bl-Bu and surnames starting with Wa.

April 2007

• Peterstal Family Database Project. More files have been added to this database - BAUER, BALLIET and surnames starting with WO-WU.
• GDO Death Notices Database Project. Many thanks to Frank Ulm who indexed his Volk Auf Dem Weg for the years 1956, 1957, May and June of 1980 and Aug/Sept of 1981. Additions to the following villages were made: Barth - Güldendorf, Lang - Neu Freudental, Schauer - Neu Berlin, and Zerr - Franzfeld.

March 2007

• GDO Families Married in Johannestal in 1884-1885 - extracted from Nikolaev Archives file P410-1-38.
• GDO Families Found in Worms, Beresan in 1906 St. Petersburg Annual Report 1899-1917 - extracted from file 484-1-2359.
• Peterstal Family Database Project. More files have been added to this database.
• GDO Repressions Database Project now includes the villages of Helenental, Lustdorf, Neu Freudental, Neu Lustdorf, and Neuburg. Watch for more villages to be added in the new future. 

February 2007

• 1852 - Those Outside of the Village
• GDO Newsletter Index is now searchable instead of a PDF file. The issues are linked to the appropriate newsletter.
• March GDO Newsletter is ready to download.
• GDO Death Notices Database Project has been added to Gayla's Korner. This is a new project for collecting death notices for families from GDO villages. 
• GDO Repressions Database Project now has the villages of Josefstal and Mariental added to it. Watch for more villages to be added in the new future. 
• The website now has SEARCH capability.
• GDO Repressions Database Project now has the village of Kleinliebental added to it. Watch for Josefstal  as the next village to be added.
• Peterstal Family Database Project. Surnames starting with the letters HA-HEI, HEL-HIT and HO-HZ.
• GDO Ship List Database  has been updated for the village of Kleinliebental. Many thanks to Frank Vetsch for sharing information on the VOTSCH [VETSCH] family.
• GDO Repressions Database Project is a NEW Clearing House project started by Gayla Ohlhauser Gray. The first two villages to be added to the database are Alexanderhilf and Freudental. Look for more GDO villages to be added in the near future.
• GDO Ship List Database  has been updated for the villages of Kleinliebental, Mariental and the Odessa region. Many thanks to Elena Gabriel for her continued support of this project.
• Peterstal Family Database Project. Surnames starting with the letters GA-GE, GI and GL-GU.

January 2007

• Peterstal Family Database Project. Surnames starting with the letters J, LE-LO, M, MAIER/MEYER, MARTIN, O, OBERLANDER, V, and letter Z.
• Alexanderhilf Births 1905 added to St. Petersburg Annual Reports.
• Ingrid's Korner has been moved to the GRHS Clearing House pages.
• Elli's Korner has been added to the GRHS Clearing House pages. Check out the new files there focused on war records.
• Peterstal Family Database Project. Surnames starting with the letters KA - KZ, N, NEU and SCHMIDT.
• Dale's Korner has been updated to include a German Origins Index.

• Curt's Corner - Curt Renz has added a "corner" to the BDO web site and you should check it out especially if you are researching Güldendorf families or families that migrated from the GDO to the BDO.

December, 2005

• The HÜTHER family has been added to the Peterstal Family Database Project.
• The village of Rosenfeld has been added to the GDO Ship List Database  and the villages of Grossliebental, Freudental, Helenental, Josefstal, Kleinliebental, Neusatz, and Peterstal have been updated.
• Four more new files added to Dale's Korner regarding village of Karlstal.
• Additional information was added to the GDO Ship List Database  for the village of Freidorf.
• Karlstal Family Database Project. The families of BOSSERT-HINDEMITH, HOEHN-SINGER, AND WAHL-ZEYGER were added. Also, new files were added regarding the village of Karlstal to Dale's Korner.
• The village of Neusatz has been added to the GDO Ship List Database . Updates have been made to the Alexanderhilf, Neuburg and Odessa/Russia region village databases.
• The villages of Annental, Berlin, Freidorf, Gnadenfeld, Güldendorf, Helenental, Mariental, Neu Liebental, Neuburg, Wilhelmstal, and Odessa/Liebental/Russia have been added to the GDO Ship List Database. Some of the previous villages have been updated too.
• The villages of Alexanderhilf, Franzfeld, Grossliebental, Josefstal, Kleinliebental and Peterstal have been added to the  GDO Ship List Database.
• GDO Ship List Database is a work in progress. At this time information is available for the villages of Freudental and Neu Freudental.

• A Freudental Family Database Project. The first file references the Georg Ohlhauser family.
• All GDO Village Pages have been updated using a new format that includes hyperlinks to all documents (members and non-members).
•   Gayla's Korner now contains The Germany to Hungary to Russia Project online database. Research for this project was conducted by the GRHS Clearing House Odessa Hungarian Project Team led by Gayla. If you are researching ancestors who originated in Germany but came to Russia via Hungary, you will want to check out this database.
• A Lustdorf Family Database Project is added to list of Family Database Projects. Our first file references the Beutelspacher family.

Launch of the Grossliebental District Odessa Regional Interest Group web site. This site is dedicated to those researching ancestors in the GDO area of South Russia (now the Ukraine). The site includes:
