What’s New

June 2006

A Crimea RIG Chapter dedicated Listserv has been created.  The resources for this listserv are provided by GRHS and the software necessary to run the listserv resides on the GRHS web server.

If you are a chapter member, and have indicated an
e-mail address on your RIG Chapter sign-in sheet, you will automatically be added as a Crimea Listserv member.

If you have not received a “Welcome to the Listserv”
e-mail, or if you wish to be removed from the listserv, please contact Debbie Beick .

January 2006

A “Member’s Only” area has been added to the web site. This area will be used to upload materials directly relating to Crimea GR Genealogy. It will include recently received archival materials, translated archival records, indexes of church records, extraction’s of church records and more.

You must be a member of GRHS to access this area of the website. You will need a user name and password to enter the “Member’s Only” area.  If you do not already have one, please contact Ed Bischoff at access@grhs.org

January 2006

A projects page has been created and will be updated as soon as new projects are begun and indicate when projects have been complete.

Please check the page often to see what exciting new projects are being worked on for the Crimea. If you wish to volunteer to help with any of these projects, please contact the Crimea RIG spokesman, Debbie Beick.

You can also help be a part by contributing to the Crimea Record’s Retrieval fund. For more information on how to make your contribution work for us, please see the “Record’s Retrieval” page.

January 2006

You can now join the RIG by downloading a sign up sheet right here at the web site.  Please complete the form and return it to the Crimea RIG representative.  Many new and exciting things are in store for the Crimea. Being a part of the Crimea RIG will insure that you too are part of this exciting future. Sign up today!

The Crimea RIG website also has a new look!  I hope you find it easy to navigate as well as being more pleasing to the eye.
