Remains of the German Lutheran Church in Kassel (now known as Velikokomarovka), Glückstal Parish, Kherson/Odessa District, South Russia. Taken in 2001. The missing steeple is typical of surviving church buildings as they were removed during the soviet era. Many of the churchs are now used as community halls or theatres. More information about the village of Kassel can be found here.
