How to search the databases:

• Basic search (searches all the databases at once)

• Advanced search (allows you to select the search criteria and a single database or all databases at once)

• Select from a list of surnames (select all databases or a single database)

• Search by location (select all databases or a single database)

• Search by date (select event, date, and all databases or a single database)

Understanding the databases:

• The databases are for personal use only. The data is to be used as "notes" to aid you in your research.

• The information in the databases are from a number of sources which are included with each entry (if the owner of the database included the sources).

• Add, change or refresh your database as often as you need to by sending us a new GEDCOM (genealogy@grhs.org)

• GRHS is not responsible for any inaccurate information. It is the researchers responsibility to obtain the source documents pertaining to their family research. See GRHS Terms and Conditions.

Contribute data to this project:

• Complete an Intellectual Property Rights (IPRA) - Transfer of Rights and submit it to GRHS. (There are two kinds of products that can be contributed to GRHS, printed copies or original work of books, letters, photos, etc. and digital records that can be contributed to GRHS for display on the www.grhs.org website. Both use a unique form to convey permission to use to GRHS or convey copyright ownership. Please read the instructions at http://www.grhs.org/about/copyright.htm )

• Send GEDCOM file to genealogy@grhs.org (Please send new GEDCOM as you add or change information.)

• Send pedigree or family data chart to genealogy@grhs.org

• Any photos of people or headstones may also be added. You will need to fill out the form indicated above, and then email the photos to genealogy@grhs.org
